The Friendly Pet Sitter is owned and operated by L.A. Redding. Laura is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts where she holds degrees in Animal Behavioral Science and Cultural Semiotics. We have been making pets and their owners happy here in the Roanoke Valley since 1999. We are licensed, bonded & insured for your protection as well as proud members of Pet Sitters International, an organization founded to "support, promote and recognize excellence in pet sitting." OUR EXPANDING STAFF
Laura Green joined FPS in the summer of 2006. She is a graduate of VA Tech and has a degree in Animal Poultry Science. Now a full-time teacher, Laura devotes her summers to keeping our clients happy. She is a trustworthy & indispensable member of our team. In her spare time, Laura enjoys Flyball with her two dogs, Curtis & Derby.
Helen Foster is our newest caregiver. She owns and maintains a mini-farm, home to 4 horses, 6 dogs & 2 barn cats. Helen is earning a reputation as a reliable and conscientious pet sitter.
